What a lovely hot summer evening. Some friend and I went to a Yappy Hour held every Tuesday and Thursday evening, during the summer, in Old Town. To this dog person… this event is awesome. I am already looking forward to next summer!

In late August we went to Dewey Beach with our neighbors. One of the reasons I love this beach is because they allow dogs in the morning and evening. I had so much fun using the light bouncing off the ocean. And of course just watching the dogs was the best part!
Kids, dogs, neighbors and watermelon. Summer days just do not get any better than this!
What a lovely petting zoo. We had a great time wandering around. The light was a bit bright but I think that leads to some great black & white images.
Coco has been photographed hundreds of times! Whenever we go to the dog park she always has her nose to the ground or in an unmentionable place! So I was lucky to catch her in these poses.
I had a great time with costume changes on this big beautiful beast!
Here is Allie! What a playful puppy. I expect to have many more enjoyable afternoons on our back porch.
